So I'm starting a project. This was born out of a few conversations with people about the original incest list, which we had thought about resurrecting, but were quickly shut down by the venom and fury that the mere idea of such a project was met with.

This project is much more tame, and far less blackmail worthy. I want to make a Leri family tree. and then off of that, a kind of bible. No real names need to be used, but I want to trace who, when, and where it all started, who brought in whom, and the appropriate stories that accompany this.

So what I'm asking everybody for is their own personal book of john or whatever. I want to know your version of how you got involved, and who you involved after.

For discretion's sake, unless you say otherwise, I will probably use your irc handle, and once i have a complete collection, will ask people who don't have one for a replacement name.

Anybody that wants to help out (especially if you've done family trees before) is more than welcome. If you have stories, please send them to kat@fernworks.net.

Hello folks,

My, it's quiet in here.

I will be in Seattle from June 2 to June 12. Please take whatever action you feel is appropriate:

Change the locks, lock up the intoxicants, lock up the men, lock up the women, ignore this entirely, schedule Catling playtime, etc.

I'd love to see folks while I'm in town and I'm pretty mellow about what mischief we get up to. Quiet and intimate is good. Rowdy and painting the town is good. Nature walks are good. Space Needle is good. (I never did make it up there to drink a martini while looking at the skyline...) Museums are good. Dinner in Capitol Hill or elsewhere is good. Sushi is very good!

Please suggest something fun if you like and I'll swing over your way. I have various stuff going on while I'm in town but scheduling for all of it is pretty flexible and ten days in your fair city gives me a lot of leeway for mischief of all sorts.

*smoooch!*
Good chance you've heard something of the Seattle Erotic Art Festival, well its happening this weekend Jan 30 - Feb 1.

I've not actually been to this illustrious event before, but I expect to be there for the 'gala' this Friday evening, sporting a painted noggin (or more?), courtesy of body-painter Rachel Bachman. www.drizzle.com/~binger/squiggles

She'll be doing bodypainting all weekend, and might be interested in more subjects. You can reach her at rachels_squiggles@yahoo.com

Maybe see some of you there :)

It looks like a blast - dressing up as Santa and running amok five days before Christmas, what's not to like? Sit on Santa's lap and tell him exactly what you want for Christmas. Be sure to wiggle it just a little bit while you're asking, I'm told that makes your chances of getting the prezzie higher.

If any Seattle area folks have any interest in this, please let me know, perhaps we can carpool. (I know, I know, trying to schedule anything else before New Years is going to be challenging)
